Data Residency with Getint
Businesses operating across borders increasingly prioritize controlling where their data is stored. With growing regulations and customer expectations for localized data handling, ensuring compliance and security has become a top priority. At Getint, we recognize these needs and offer robust data residency solutions.
Data Residency Package Options
Standard: A shared tenant in the EU or USA.
Enterprise: A dedicated tenant in any AWS-supported location, along with shorter synchronization intervals.
This feature is available for customers with deals valued at $5,000 or more, allowing them to enjoy additional benefits, such as a dedicated tenant in any AWS-supported location.
What is Data Residency?
Data residency refers to keeping data within specific geographic locations to comply with local regulations and provide assurance about data security and privacy. This is particularly important in finance, healthcare, and government industries, where data protection is non-negotiable.
How We Approach Data Residency?
Our dedication to customer satisfaction, security, and regulatory compliance is evident in our data residency offering. For customers managing larger accounts (deals valued at $5,000 or more), this policy guarantees that data is stored and processed within their specified geographic region, fully aligned with business needs and legal requirements. Additionally, eligible customers gain access to a dedicated tenant in any AWS-supported location, providing them with enhanced control over their data.
How Getint Stores Data?
All Hosts and Data Storage are stored in Germany, EU. We support both Cloud and On-Premise deployment models, allowing customers to align the platform with their operational preferences. The platform stores only essential data needed for integrations, such as connection credentials, configuration details, integration logs, and results.
By default, logs are retained for up to 14 days, while synchronization data is stored only while the integration remains active. However, in version 1.79, we introduced the possibility of retaining logs for more than 100 days.
Please note that increasing the retention period may lead to significant storage consumption.
Also, when a customer stops using Getint, all configuration data is deleted after 30 days. However, if retention for business purposes is necessary, the customer will be notified via email. This approach reflects our commitment to data security, transparency, and compliance.
Why Data Residency with Getint Matters
Regulatory Compliance: Localized data handling simplifies adherence to regional data protection laws, such as GDPR in Europe or CCPA in California.
Strengthened Security: Dedicated tenants enhance security by offering an isolated environment tailored to meet the specific needs of the customer.
Building Customer Confidence: Demonstrating a commitment to data privacy fosters trust and credibility among clients.
Maintaining Operational Efficiency: Even with these advanced data residency features, we ensure integrations and workflows remain adequate and uninterrupted.
How to Get Started with Data Residency
For eligible customers, leveraging data residency is a simple process. During onboarding, clients specify their preferred data storage location. We configure all integrations to align with these preferences and allocate a dedicated tenant to ensure optimal control and performance.
