Introduction

When seeking support for your integration, you might be required to provide additional details to aid in the troubleshooting process. One crucial piece of information is your Instance ID. This unique identifier helps the support team pinpoint and understand the specific issue you're experiencing with your integration.

What is an Instance ID?

The Instance ID is a unique identifier assigned to your specific instance. It plays a critical role in helping our support team identify and resolve issues more efficiently by providing a direct link to the version and configuration of your instance.

How to Find Your Instance ID

Follow these steps to locate your Instance ID within your system:

  • Access Your Instance: Log in and navigate to your instance's main dashboard or home screen.

  • Find the Help Icon: Look for the “?” icon in the bottom left corner of your screen.

  • Locate the Instance ID: In the popup window, you will see several pieces of information about your instance, including the option to contact support, the current version of the software your instance is running, and importantly, the Instance ID.

  • Provide the Instance ID to Support:

  1. Screenshot: You can take a screenshot of this popup window showing the Instance ID and other relevant information. This can be particularly helpful if you're discussing your issue through a support ticket or email, allowing the support team to see the context around your instance ID.

  2. Send the Instance ID Number: Alternatively, you can provide the Instance ID number directly.

Importance of Providing the Instance ID

Providing your Instance ID when requesting support significantly enhances our ability to assist you. With this information, the support team can:

  • Quickly locate your instance in our system.

  • Understand the specific version and configuration you're using.

  • Diagnose issues more accurately.

  • Offer more personalized and effective solutions.

Conclusion

Whenever you're facing challenges or have questions about your integration, remember that your Instance ID is a key piece of information that can facilitate a faster and more efficient support experience. By following the steps outlined above, you can easily find and provide this critical information to our support team, ensuring we have all we need to help you resolve your issue as quickly as possible.
