# Privacy Policy

### Getint Privacy Policy <a href="#getint-privacy-policy" id="getint-privacy-policy"></a>

Our services, like Getint.io, do not automatically collect any personal information, except for the data contained in cookie files.

The GDPR applies in all EU Member States from May 25, 2018. What are personal data? Any information regarding an identified or identifiable natural person is considered to be personal data. Personal data are, for example, name, surname, e-mail address, bank details, payment card number, or the IP address of the computer. The Personal Data Administrator is [Wizmur.com](http://wizmur.com/), headquartered at ul. Miłosza 53b/67, 80-126 Gdańsk. When writing a Service or Services, we mean websites that we manage, that is, Getint.io.

This Privacy Policy applies to both the Getint website ([www.getint.io](https://www.getint.io/)) and the Getint application (Cloud, SaaS, and OnPremise versions). Getint is operated by:

### 2. Scope of This Policy <a href="#id-2.-scope-of-this-policy" id="id-2.-scope-of-this-policy"></a>

This policy covers how we collect, process, store, and protect personal data when you:

* Visit our website
* Fill in contact or demo forms
* Schedule a meeting using external tools
* Use our application (Getint Cloud, SaaS, or OnPremise)
* Interact with our support or sales team

### 3. What Data We Collect <a href="#id-3.-what-data-we-collect" id="id-3.-what-data-we-collect"></a>

#### a) Website Visitors <a href="#a-website-visitors" id="a-website-visitors"></a>

We collect:

* Name, email, company name (via forms in Webflow, Calendly, Tidycal)
* Device and browser information
* Pages visited, time on site, IP address
* Cookie consent status
* **Tools used**: Webflow, Calendly, Tidycal, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Leadinfo, Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads.

#### b) App Users (Getint Platform) <a href="#b-app-users-getint-platform" id="b-app-users-getint-platform"></a>

To facilitate the core functionality of our synchronization services, we distinguish between data that is processed for active syncs and data that is stored for operational persistence.

* **Processed Data**: To facilitate synchronizations, the app processes connection details (URL, user email, and encrypted personal access tokens) and synchronization configuration profiles.
* **Stored Data**: Because ticket metadata is always retained to preserve synchronization integrity and history, the following information is kept in our database:
  * **Connection Details**: Site URL, user email, and encrypted personal access tokens.
  * **Configuration Profiles**: Field mapping configurations, which may contain user email mappings and specific field values (for example, priority, severity, issue names, status names, and custom field options).

#### c) Data Storage by Environment (Jira Cloud vs. Data Center) <a href="#c-data-storage-by-environment-jira-cloud-vs.-data-center" id="c-data-storage-by-environment-jira-cloud-vs.-data-center"></a>

Our data storage practices depend on the type of environment you are using:

* **Jira Cloud**: We only store data for Jira Cloud environments. For these users, the data mentioned above is stored securely within our cloud infrastructure.
* **Jira Data Center**: For Jira Data Center users, Getint does not store this data within our cloud infrastructure.
* **On-Premise**: No data is stored by Getint; all data remains within the customer's controlled environment.

### 4. How We Use Your Data <a href="#id-4.-how-we-use-your-data" id="id-4.-how-we-use-your-data"></a>

* To operate and improve the Getint application
* To authenticate users and sync systems
* To provide demos and customer support
* To send occasional product updates or critical notifications
* To analyze product and marketing performance
* To run lead generation and targeted ad campaigns (Google, LinkedIn)

### 5. Legal Basis for Processing <a href="#id-5.-legal-basis-for-processing" id="id-5.-legal-basis-for-processing"></a>

Under GDPR, we rely on:

* **Consent**: for marketing emails, cookies, and scheduling
* **Contractual necessity**: to deliver the core functionality of the app
* **Legitimate interest**: for product improvement, security, and B2B communication
* **Legal obligation**: when required to comply with law

### 6. Data Residency & Storage <a href="#id-6.-data-residency-and-storage" id="id-6.-data-residency-and-storage"></a>

By default, Getint Cloud tenants are hosted in **Germany**.

We support data residency and store data independently from Atlassian in:

* **Germany**
* **United States** (upon customer request)

**Cloud version**: stores only for Jira Cloud integrations.

**OnPremise version**: data is fully hosted and stored by the customer behind their firewall.

**Storage providers**: AWS, Google Cloud, Atlassian Cloud.

### 7. Data Retention <a href="#id-7.-data-retention" id="id-7.-data-retention"></a>

Users may request earlier deletion at any time by contacting us.

### 8. Subprocessors & Data Sharing <a href="#id-8.-subprocessors-and-data-sharing" id="id-8.-subprocessors-and-data-sharing"></a>

We do not sell, rent, or trade personal data, ever.

We only share data with trusted vendors ("subprocessors") essential for delivering our services:

All subprocessors meet industry-standard security and compliance frameworks.

### 9. International Transfers <a href="#id-9.-international-transfers" id="id-9.-international-transfers"></a>

We store and process data primarily in the EEA. Some of our subprocessors may process data in the United States or other jurisdictions.

Where this occurs, we rely on mechanisms such as **Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs)** and **public commitments** by vendors (for example, participation in the **Data Privacy Framework** or equivalent safeguards) as legally recognized under GDPR and CCPA.

### 10. Cookies & Tracking Technologies <a href="#id-10.-cookies-and-tracking-technologies" id="id-10.-cookies-and-tracking-technologies"></a>

We use cookies to:

* Measure website traffic and performance
* Personalize ads and remarketing
* Track your consent preferences

You will be shown a cookie consent banner when visiting our website. You may reject or modify your consent at any time.
