# Battlecards (Getint.io vs Competitors)

## Battlecards: Getint vs. Competitors <a href="#battlecards-getint-vs.-competitors" id="battlecards-getint-vs.-competitors"></a>

*A practical, sales-ready comparison of Getint against the integration tools it is most often measured against in the Atlassian and Jira ecosystem. This card is built to align with Getint's own published comparisons on the Battlecards page (Getint vs Exalate, Getint vs Unito, Getint vs Backbone). Use it to qualify deals, answer objections, and recommend the right fit honestly. Last verified against Getint's comparison posts: July 2026.*

### Getint at a Glance <a href="#getint-at-a-glance" id="getint-at-a-glance"></a>

Getint is a no-code and low-code integration and migration platform centered on the Jira and Atlassian ecosystem, with two-way sync to ITSM, DevOps, CRM, and work-management tools. Founded in 2020 in Gdansk, Poland.

* **What it Does**: Two-way synchronization and one-time migration of work items, fields, comments, attachments, statuses, and hierarchies. Supports one-to-one, one-to-many, and many-to-many topologies, in one-way or bi-directional mode.
* **Connectors**: 17 platform connectors, including Jira, Azure DevOps, ServiceNow, Salesforce, Asana, monday.com, ClickUp, GitHub, GitLab, Zendesk, Freshdesk, Freshservice, HubSpot, Notion, Trello, Wrike, Airtable, and Git repositories.
* **Deployment**: Jira Cloud (built on Atlassian Forge), Jira Data Center, and a standalone SaaS or fully self-hosted On-Premise build that runs behind your firewall.
* **Security and Status**: ISO 27001 and ISO 27018 certified, SOC 2 Type II audited, GDPR and CCPA compliant, and a participant in Atlassian's Bug Bounty and Cloud Fortified programs. Atlassian Platinum Marketplace Partner.
* **Pricing Model**: Fixed-fee, per-connection licensing, for non-Jira integrations. For Jira integrations, only the Jira-side app is required, billed through the Atlassian Marketplace. A Jira-to-Jira integration needs two licenses (one per Jira), or one regular license plus a remote license. Discounts apply as the connection count grows.
* **Extras**: QuickBuild auto-mapping, advanced reporting with detailed logs, notifications (in-app, email, Slack, and webhooks to tools like Datadog and Dynatrace), a Jira side panel, JavaScript scripting for advanced logic, a built-in Archiver, and custom development billed at $120/hour (minimum 5 hours for $600). A Network or Flexible license covers four or more instances (for example, up to ten connections).

**Vendor-Stated Traction**: Getint reports roughly 4,000 to 6,000 customer companies (including 16 Fortune 500), 500,000-plus users, a rating around 3.82 out of 4 on the Atlassian Marketplace, and millions of integrations run daily. These figures are Getint's own and vary across Getint's pages, so treat them as marketing positioning rather than audited metrics.

**Where Getint Fits Best**: Teams that want predictable flat pricing, flexible deployment (especially standalone on-premise or Data Center), broad connector coverage beyond Jira-to-Jira, and a UI-driven setup without learning a scripting language. ..

**Honest limitations to expect in evaluations:** Getint is template and UI first, so it can be less flexible than script-first platforms for highly conditional or unusual transformation logic. Its scripting is JavaScript-based field customization through API calls rather than a full scripting engine, and it does not offer an AI configuration assistant. Position on predictability, deployment flexibility, reporting, and breadth rather than on deep scripting.

### Market Context <a href="#market-context" id="market-context"></a>

The Jira integration space spans several distinct patterns, and the best tool depends on the pattern rather than a feature count:

* **Cross-company, script-driven sync** (separate organizations each controlling their own side): Exalate is the recognized leader.
* **No-code work-management sync** across lightweight PM tools: Unito's core niche.
* **Jira-to-Jira sync** within or across organizations: Backbone (K15t) is purpose-built for this.
* **Jira with ITSM, DevOps, CRM, and on-premises needs**: Where Getint is frequently shortlisted, alongside Exalate.
* **Enterprise iPaaS and Broad Automation:** Workato, MuleSoft, and ConnectALL play here at much higher price points.

Growth and market-share claims in this category (including Getint's own “fastest-growing” positioning and any competitor's share claims) are vendor-stated and should be treated as marketing rather than audited fact.

### Card 1: Getint vs. Exalate <a href="#card-1-getint-vs.-exalate" id="card-1-getint-vs.-exalate"></a>

**One-line positioning**: *Getint wins on flat pricing, single-side install, reporting, and no-scripting simplicity; Exalate wins on cross-company architecture and deep customization through scripting.*

{% hint style="info" %}
For more information, please visit our dedicated blog post about the comparisons: [Getint vs Exalate 2026: Full Comparison & Honest Verdict](https://www.getint.io/blog/getint-vs-exalate).
{% endhint %}

#### What Exalate Is <a href="#what-exalate-is" id="what-exalate-is"></a>

Exalate launched in 2014 in Antwerp, Belgium, originally as a Jira-to-Jira competitor to Backbone, and grew into a broader bi-directional sync platform built around a Groovy scripting engine. Its defining trait is a decentralized model: the tool is installed on each connected application, and each side independently controls what it sends and receives, which suits syncs between two organizations that will not grant each other internal access. Exalate has around 4,400 Marketplace installations and a rating near 3.29 out of 4, and it ships Aida, an AI assistant that drafts and explains sync scripts.

Exalate supports 8 platforms: Jira (Software and Service Management), Azure DevOps, ServiceNow, Zendesk, Salesforce, GitHub, Freshdesk, and Freshservice.

#### Where Getint Wins <a href="#where-getint-wins" id="where-getint-wins"></a>

* **Predictable, flat pricing versus per-connector pricing**: Getint charges a fixed per-connection fee for non-Jira integrations and a user-based fee for Jira integrations (only requires the app being installed in Jira). Exalate requires paying for each connector separately (both sides), with the Jira side priced by Atlassian user tier and non-Jira connector prices no longer published. Integrating Jira Cloud for 2,000 users with ServiceNow was about $16,900 per year with Exalate ($7,000 for Jira plus roughly $9,900 for ServiceNow) versus about $11,830 per year with Getint. For Jira Data Center at 500 users, Getint cited about $11,600 versus $14,500 for Exalate.
* **Single-side install and centralized UI**: Getint installs on the Jira side only and manages everything from one interface. Exalate must be installed and configured on each connected tool, which several customers cite as a difficult setup.
* **No scripting required for common cases**: Getint covers most mappings, workflow differences, and migrations from the UI, using JavaScript only when needed. In Exalate, non-trivial logic (different fields per type, non-identical workflows, migrations) generally requires Groovy scripts.
* **Advanced reporting with detailed logs**: Getint provides a centralized reporting dashboard with detailed error descriptions and logs, included in the license fee. Exalate's reporting is a side panel with basic error information and no detailed logs.
* **Data migration and safer conflict handling**: Getint runs migrations from the UI and merges data when both sides edit an item simultaneously. Exalate requires migration scripts and overrides one side on a simultaneous edit, which can lose data. Getint also offers custom development and an Archiver; Exalate offers neither.

### Card 2: Getint vs. Unito <a href="#card-2-getint-vs.-unito" id="card-2-getint-vs.-unito"></a>

**One-line positioning**: *Getint wins on predictable flat pricing, on-premise deployment, ISO certifications, and reporting.*

{% hint style="info" %}
For more information, please visit our dedicated blog post about the comparisons: [Unito vs. Getint: No-Code Integration Platforms Compared](https://www.getint.io/blog/unito-vs-getint)
{% endhint %}

#### What Unito Is <a href="#what-unito-is" id="what-unito-is"></a>

Unito was founded in 2016 in Montreal, Canada, and offers no-code, two-way sync across 50-plus work tools (Trello, Asana, Jira, DevOps, plus tools like Stripe, Google Calendar, Intercom, and Miro) through a visual “flow” builder using an if-this-then-that model. Pricing is usage-based, tied to the number of items kept in sync, so cost rises as sync volume grows. Unito is SaaS only, hosted on AWS in the USA, and is not distributed as an Atlassian Marketplace app.

#### Where Getint Wins <a href="#where-getint-wins.1" id="where-getint-wins.1"></a>

* **Flat versus usage-based pricing**: Getint's fixed per-connection fee lets you sync unlimited items at a predictable price. Unito starts at around $65 per month (billed annually) for only 750 items, one tool, basic fields, 6 mapped fields, 10 active flows, and 15-minute updates, and it scales up to about $1,439 per month or more. The more you sync, the more you pay.
* **Advanced scenarios without a top-tier jump**: Jira-to-Jira, syncing multiple instances of the same tool, real-time syncing, and custom fields require Unito's higher-tier (Business) plans. Getint handles these without tier-gating the core capability.
* **On-premise and data residency**: Unito has no on-premise option and hosts data in the USA. Getint offers standalone on-premise (fully behind the firewall) and defaults to EU data residency, which is often decisive for security and compliance buyers.
* **ISO certifications and Marketplace security programs**: Getint holds ISO 27001 and ISO 27018 and participates in Atlassian's Bug Bounty and Cloud Fortified programs. Unito is SOC 2 Type II and GDPR compliant but lacks ISO certifications and, not being an Atlassian app, is not part of those Marketplace programs.
* **Reporting, comments, and migration**: Getint provides detailed logs, comment footers that preserve the original author and timestamp, and granular migration with an Archiver. Unito's reporting is basic, and its migration lacks time-range or field-level control.

### Card 3: Getint vs. Backbone (Backbone Issue Sync) <a href="#card-3-getint-vs.-backbone-backbone-issue-sync" id="card-3-getint-vs.-backbone-backbone-issue-sync"></a>

**One-line positioning**: *Getint wins on connector breadth beyond Jira, centralized reporting, scripting, and flexible remote licensing.*

{% hint style="info" %}
For more information, please visit our dedicated blog post about the comparisons: [Backbone vs Getint: Which Jira Integration Fits You?](https://www.getint.io/blog/backbone-vs-getint)
{% endhint %}

#### What Backbone Is <a href="#what-backbone-is" id="what-backbone-is"></a>

Backbone Issue Sync, developed by K15t (an Atlassian Platinum Partner), is an integration tool built exclusively for Jira-to-Jira sync across Jira Cloud, Server, and Data Center. It has been in the market for over a decade and has 2,800-plus Marketplace installations and a rating near 3.4 out of 4. It is a no-code tool with a straightforward, older interface, and it requires installation on both Jira instances.

&#x20;

#### Where Getint Wins <a href="#where-getint-wins.2" id="where-getint-wins.2"></a>

* **Beyond Jira-to-Jira**: Backbone is Jira-only. Getint syncs Jira with its full connector set (ServiceNow, Azure DevOps, Salesforce, Zendesk, Monday.com, GitHub, GitLab, and more), which matters if the customer's roadmap extends past two Jira instances.
* **Centralized reporting and scripting**: Billed per number of Jira users or fixed fee for non-Jira integrations. Getint offers a centralized reporting dashboard with detailed, close-to-real-time logs (which can be encrypted) and supports custom scripting. Backbone's reporting is a per-issue side panel with no central dashboard, and it does not support scripting.
* **More flexible remote licensing and deployment**: Both tools offer a remote license so one side can sync without installing the app, but Backbone's remote license is limited to Jira Server or Data Center, whereas Getint's works for any Jira type (Cloud, Server, or Data Center). Both can run behind the firewall; Getint also offers a standalone on-premise product, plus folders, custom development, and premium support that Backbone does not clearly advertise.
* **Easier setup and mapping.** Getint's QuickBuild auto-maps simple and complex fields (statuses, priorities, assignees) and does not require installing on both instances during the trial. Backbone auto-maps simple fields but needs manual mapping for complex ones and requires installation on both instances.

### Secondary Competitors <a href="#secondary-competitors" id="secondary-competitors"></a>

* **TFS4JIRA (Spartez / Appfire)**: A Jira and Azure DevOps or TFS sync specialist with no-code sync profiles, billed through the Marketplace. Narrow scope (Azure DevOps focus). Getint has enterprise migrations from TFS4JIRA, including Skoda Auto and Siemens.
* **Workato**: An enterprise iPaaS rather than a Jira-specific sync tool. Very capable and expensive (market estimates put the base workspace around $10,000 per year, often higher). Position Getint when the need is focused on Jira integration rather than org-wide automation.
* **ConnectALL**: Adapter-based value-stream integration on annual licensing (market estimates start around $15,000 per year). Enterprise-oriented; Getint positions on simpler, lower-cost, Marketplace-billed deployment.

{% hint style="warning" %}
*Pricing and product details in this document were verified in July 2026 from each vendor's site and the Atlassian Marketplace. List prices are in USD; annual billing typically carries a discount. Always confirm current tiers, since integration pricing changes frequently.*
